My birthday is May 4th, which also happens to be Star Wars Day.
This wasn’t a big deal to me until a few years ago, when “May the 4th” Star Wars memes started popping up all over social media.
For those who don’t know, the saying goes: “May the 4th be with you,” as a play on the infamous movie quote.
If I’m being honest, I found the numerous Star Wars memes on my birthday annoying at first.
But then I realized what a cool thing it was to have a birthday on such a special pop culture day.
