I’ve been on a mission – trying everything out there to let you know which are worth your time.

These are the resources for bloggers that I think will save you time and give you results.

Whether you’re a brand new blogger or looking for ways to grow on social media, there’s something here for you.

Hosting & Themes

Bluehost: I’ve always used Bluehost for my websites & trust them completely. Their customer service is fantastic – when I call they spend time on the phone TEACHING me things. They have some of the lowest prices and you can easily get your WordPress site + blog up and running in minutes (here is my step-by-step guide for you to follow). Getting real, professional support is so worth the investment of just $3.95/month.

Themeforest: For my first blog I used a free theme & spent a lot of time putting it together to look professional. For my second blog I spent a little money on a premium theme because I valued my time. Right now my site runs on a Themeforest theme & it’s been so easy to customize without needing to do any coding. They provide great support & I also like that these themes include free updates for life.

Angie Makes: Specializing in blog themes for women, Angie Makes offers beautiful, professional themes that are easy to customize. They even offer a free theme download (scroll to the bottom of the page & click on “FREE THEME”), so you can play around & get a feel for how it works. I love how they focus specifically on themes appealing to women.

Create Images

Canva – The best tool to create images for your page. Oh, and it’s FREE.
PicMonkey – Lots of people sing their praises, but I personally do not use this one!

Creative Market sends you emails every Monday with FREE downloads for everything from fonts to mockups to photos & more. Love these!

The Hello Bar is awesome for building your email list & it’s FREE. If you use my referral link, you can even try to Pro version for free for a month, but the basic free version is awesome to use too.

Who knew Etsy is a great place to find custom images! When you’re ready to use Photoshop, smart objects & mockups to sell your own digital or actual products, look to Etsy for unique & beautiful photos.

Kate Maxwell and Up Styled are two of my favorites. Use their designs for blog post graphics, Pinterest pins or to feature your own products. Especially when you’re trying to sell a product online, presentation makes a world of difference!

Social Media

This is a fantastic social sharing plugin for a very good price. Not only are the sharing buttons customizable, but the Pinterest picture & text can be EASILY pre-loaded for each post. Now that Pinterest is using smart feed, you need to make sure the text contains the right keyword & this plugin is the answer. Quickly setup custom tweets, Facebook & Google Plus shares too. One & done!

Have a printable that you’re giving away for free? Why not give it away for free… if the reader shares it? I love this Social Locker plugin that “locks” a freebie until the user shares on whatever social platform you choose. Want to see it in action? Hootsuite – Click to find out how to schedule your tweets to be sent out hours, days, weeks & months in advance for FREE.
HootSuite Pro (when you’re ready to upgrade) – Save time by uploading your tweets in bulk!
Buffer
Tailwind – Love this tool for scheduling pins to Pinterest. Now I pin everything!
