If only I started EBA sooner!
My story might sound familiar to you…
I started blogging 3.5 years ago when my daughter was 2 years old.
I wanted to be home with her but was feeling bored & needed an outlet to write, learn & be creative. Something that was mine. For me.
I had dreams of reaching people, helping people & making a living doing this thing called blogging.
After all, I’d heard so many other blogging success stories… it didn’t sound so tough.
This was the answer to my dilemma as a mom – I could work around my own schedule & still put my family first!
I researched & wrote & worked hard – eventually I would have my breakthrough moment.
Except my breakthrough moment didn’t come. I was earning pennies.
Last year I gave myself 1 more year – if I wasn’t able to make real, decent money blogging, I would quit. I was working too hard & feeling too frustrated to continue.

I spent the year trying EVERYTHING!
I started making a little money – a few hundred a month on average (some months more & some less). It was great to finally start earning!
As an afterthought, in September 2015, I registered for Elite Blog Academy (EBA) by Ruth Soukup.
I’d heard of EBA before & thought “I’ve already been blogging for years. This won’t help me.”
It was expensive, but she offers a money-back guarantee, so it seemed worth a shot.
HOLY COW. I was not expecting such fantastic results!
Ruth shares an enormous amount of valuable information & walks students through many different options for creating & launching online products.
This is the advice that resonated with me.
Your course topic should help answer a question that your readers are asking. What is it that they want to learn? Once you have that “question”, building the course is simply finding the best, most effective way to answer it.
WOW! OK! Now I had a plan.
I had already been blogging a lot about Twitter, because my blogging friends had been asking me HOW I was able to get thousands of followers. They couldn’t believe that YES, I was getting paid hundreds of dollars every month just to send tweets. They had more questions than I could answer.
So, I took Ruth’s advice from EBA, and spent the next 6 months writing an online course detailing EXACTLY how I had been finding success with Twitter.
I followed her product launch plan & built my email list while I was writing the course.
When it was time to launch, I had an email list of 2,000 people who were already interested in my course!
My husband was a bit skeptical, but I felt confident. Extremely nervous, but confident.
The moment of truth finally arrived! I opened the cart on Monday this week & in just 23 hours I made $1,421 selling my Twitter e-course.
Today, 5 days later, I’ve literally just finished working with the first class & I’m beyond thrilled with the results. The students are engaged, interested & appreciative!
As I prepare for the next enrollment (the official launch!), I’m getting chills thinking about how this is going to change not only the life of my own family but other families who will benefit from the success they will find taking my course.
I had to share this story, because I can not even find the right words to say THANK YOU to Ruth and her team at EBA.
If you are even thinking about enrolling in EBA yourself, make sure you get on the waiting list ASAP.
It’s only offered once a year & you don’t want to miss your chance!
Have you finished EBA yet? If not, what’s holding you back?
